Why you'll like it

• Open frame design: Air moves freely around the fixture so heat isn't trapped against the light, and you can still reach the fixture and its cable for adjustments.
• Flush, secure mounting: Each mount has a flat 6 mm backplate with two screw holes (about 85 mm apart) that sits tight against your enclosure wall or ceiling using #6 screws.
• Strong, simple shape: The frame narrows at the base for strength, curves into a rounded cradle, and finishes in a straight front rail.

Why PETG instead of PLA

• Handles the heat: An LED heatsink and warm, humid tropical air will slowly soften and warp PLA, which starts to give at roughly 55 to 60°C. PETG holds its shape up to a glass transition of around 80°C, so it won't creep or sag.
• Handles the humidity: PETG absorbs very little water, roughly 0.2% or less by weight, so misting, rain systems and high humidity won't swell it or loosen it at the screws.
• Easy to clean: It stands up well to wiping down with reptile-safe and terrarium-safe cleaners.
