Arcadia T5 UVB Light Risers for Reptile Enclosures (Set of 2)
$20.00 USD
Lift your standard Arcadia T5 UVB fixture off the mesh with a set of two freestanding PETG risers. Each riser stands on your enclosure's screen top and holds one end of the fixture in a hanging loop, so you can raise the lamp without screws, brackets or tools.
The install photos are of the tall version of the riser.
Sold as a set of 2
Your order includes 2 risers in the height you choose, one for each end of the fixture. Some photos show a tall and a short riser side by side so you can compare the heights. The photos also show both a smooth and a textured print finish. Both are the same PETG part and perform the same.
Why you'll like it
- No hardware needed: The risers stand on the mesh. Slide the ends of the fixture through the loops and you're set.
- Air gap under the lamp: Raising the fixture keeps it off the screen, so warm air can move under and around it.
- Another way to tune your UVB: UVB strength drops as the lamp moves farther from the basking spot, so the riser height gives you one more way to set the distance. Check the UV index at the basking spot with a UV meter after any change.
- Stable stance: Angled legs spread out to two flat feet, so the risers stay upright on mesh.
- Anchoring tabs: Each foot has a tab with a screw hole, so you can anchor the risers down if you want extra security. Use #6 screws for a cleaner look, or thread a small zip tie through the hole to tie them to the mesh. Screws and zip ties are not included.
Choose your height
- Tall, 110 mm (4.33"): the fixture rests about 62.5 mm (2.46") above the surface the risers stand on.
- Short, 90 mm (3.54"): the fixture rests about 42.5 mm (1.67") above the surface.
Fit check before you order
Fits the standard Arcadia T5 UVB fixtures only. It will not fit the LumenIZE fixtures. For the LumenIZE Pro T5, see my LumenIZE Pro T5 risers.
Dimensions (each riser)
- Height: 110 mm (tall) or 90 mm (short)
- Thickness: 15 mm
- Loop opening: 25 x 42.5 mm
Why PETG instead of PLA
- Handles the heat: A T5 HO fixture warms everything it touches, and PLA starts softening at roughly 55 to 60°C. PETG holds its shape up to a glass transition of around 80°C, so the risers won't sag or creep under the fixture during long daily light cycles.
- Handles the moisture: PETG absorbs very little water, roughly 0.2% or less by weight, so it won't swell, warp or weaken from misting, humid substrates or the moisture swings of tropical and desert setups.
- Easy to clean: It is chemically resistant enough to wipe down with standard reptile-safe enclosure cleaners.
